Relentless Boardmasters in association with Vans 2012 Festival - Day 3

The day time was all about the Vans Summer Sessions down at Fistral beach on Day 3. Over at the Street course, a packed crowd got some idea of what was in store with a practice session preceding the first of the Best Trick events. Over on the mini ramp the bar was set extremely high for the BMX Open Best Trick. Tom Instead dominated the Best Air element with a huge 900, whilst Dean Cuseon and Ash Douglas also were rewarded for the impressive efforts.
As the afternoon progressed things ramped up with the Watergate Bay site opening up. Ed Sheeran amassed a huge crowd for the headline spot and duly provided the baying crowds with a captivating two hour performance that will be talked about for years to come.
Those looking for a change of pace were not without options as DJ Fresh, Japanese Popstars and Pulled Apart By Horses in particular played their part in stoking out the appreciative crowds. The Vans Off The Wall Music tent is proving to be a huge success and is continually packed to their rafters with their high octane line up.
Marley Point provided a stunning view over the bay and the impressive set up provided an awesome set courtesy of DJ Zinc. Definitely worth heading over there tonight for the highly anticipated Mista Jam that will have his work cut out to out do DJ Zinc’s opener.
